On August 10, 2017 the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic hosted a reception in the small craft gallery to recognize a significant donation of Cunard ephemera from the collection of John G. Langley, Q.C., chairman of the Cunard Steamship Society. With this donation the MMA now becomes the largest repository of Cunard ephemera in the world – a fitting tribute to Halifax as the ancestral home of Cunard line and birthplace of founder Samuel Cunard.
